Testimonials

Thank you very much,

Stanley Steemer is the leading carpet cleaning company in the United States. It is our priority to make sure customers and employees are receiving the best education, service, and commitment on a consistent basis. We have pioneered the industry through our dedication and strive for excellence. In order to maintain this culture we rely on outside sources and internal strengths to keep us ahead of the curve. This has provided us the ability to excel in other services, such as; tile and grout cleaning, air duct cleaning, hardwood refinishing and cleaning, water mitigation services, and flooring.

This year Stanley Steemer was privileged to witness dedication from a different environment which correlates well with our vision. Each morning we hold morning meetings with our staff and thought it would be beneficial to invite, “Stand Tall with Passion”. Coaches Mark Ewald and Tony Vittorio did a fantastic job inspiring, encouraging, and driving our employees in the right direction. It was great to witness the similarities from sports to careers and the motivations behind goals, teams, and commitments.

Stand Tall with Passion was beneficial guiding the same vision in a different format. It is difficult to maintain the passion on a daily basis. These two gentlemen provided a change and our employees responded. The feedback from these sessions was fantastic and the performance measures “goals” they provided our employees to think about supported growth. Since the motivational meetings, our employees at the Columbus branch still end each morning with “Axe on 3”. This signifies the break of a huddle and was conducted by the coaches during their speech.

Stanley Steemer has welcomed “Stand Tall with Passion” to roughly a dozen locations as well as General Manager’s meetings at the corporate office. It was easy and inspiring to see the “love of the game” and the “energy and passion” they commit to on a daily basis.

We look forward to future endeavors and a successful march for “Stand Tall with Passion”.

Coach Vittorio and Coach Ewald,

Just wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to speak at the state clinic and help improve the coaches in our state! You did an excellent job...we had several coaches comment on how great your session was. I hope you enjoyed the time at the clinic and if there is ever anything we can do to help you out at Dayton, please let me know. Take care and we wish you the best in the upcoming season! Please pass along our thanks to Coach Ewald for his inspiring team 1st concept as well.

Mark,

I just wanted to let you and Tony know how much we appreciated your speaking to us last night. And to begin with a prayer. What a great move. It's very reassuring to see people with your energy and wonderful outlook on living. You both made me feel so good last night, when I got home I was still wound up. The problem was I woke up at 2am ready to go again. Thanks.
I struggle with the fact that so many choose to go through this blessed life "Ho-Hum". You obviously struggle with that too.
I'm hoping in the near future, we can get more positive leadership at the top.
If either or both of you decide to run for president, please let me know. We need you there.
Thanks so much,

John Dorn

To whom it may concern,

My name is Daniel Sacksteder. I had been a colleague and coach with Mark Ewald for many years as well as a long time friend. His coaching and athletic talent carries its own ethos without mentioning his experience motivating players, coaches and fans in his sporting community. I was graced with the opportunity to hear Mark speak during a sports banquet at St. Peter Catholic School in Huber Heights, Ohio. He had been asked to present a speech to the up-and-coming athletes who would be soon beginning to enter into high school athletics. As parents we hardly could have been ready for the inspirational performance Mark had prepared for the student-athletes. He spoke of team development and hard individual strife that create strong character for the future whether playing a sport or not. Most importantly, he spoke of community involvement. Mark was keen to push the best and the developing players to make the most of every moment given regardless playtime and arbitrary hardships. He knew the right words to say to make us want to return to the field, pitch, or the sidelines. The student-athletes were indeed moved by his positive outlook on athletics and life in general. I’m sure many carried it with them into their future education, which was certainly the most important goal.

Cordially,

Mark,

It was very rewarding to have you and Coach Tony Vittorio share your Stand Tall with Passion presentation to our team of staff and volunteers at the Life Resource Center. Your “down to earth” approach and candid sharing of yourselves put us at ease immediately and enabled each of us to gain several applicable and helpful soft skill nuggets. I was especially appreciative of how quickly you earned our respect.

Your coverage of Team Building, Work Ethic, Enthusiasm, Goal Setting and most of all Passion, in your “Back to the Basics” and passionate manner, put you and the program outcomes over the top.

Thank you for what you do. My only coaching comment, if I may share one, would be this: Keep doing it! I anticipate working together in the near future.

Take care and God bless.

Paul

Mark,

I wanted to send you a quick to thank you for your and Tony’s motivational talk this morning. I found it to be very inspiring and took away several ‘nuggets’ from your presentation. It was refreshing to hear speakers, outside of church, make references to God and prayer. There were a lot of ‘aha’ moments that I will work on based on your presentation. It has been quite some time, about 20 years to be exact, since I received a pep talk from a coach and it felt great! Thanks and again, I appreciate you both taking the time out of your busy schedules. Hope you make it a great day!

Coaches,

Wow! What a motivational meeting you shared with the Ziebart rocks! This was very motivational and really hit home with our team.Talking about a halftime message that would make any average guy want to be above average you guys really have something special. Are you a jelly bean marshmellow or a rock? I guess you have to ask yourself every day which one do you want to be.Alot of people are below average and they are the jelly bean that once under fire will melt under pressure situations. The marshmellow is a little tougher under fire and can with stand some heat but will eventually melt he is the average guy.The "ROCK" is the guy we want leading our team because he can handle any and all heat and will never melt under pressure situations. Thats the kind of leaders we want on the Ziebart Team and you guys really allowed our guys to evaluate themselves and take a big hard look in the mirror every day they put the uniform on.The job and opportunity is all part of a team and we need to be thankful that we are on a winning team and be proud to be the "ROCKS".
We at Ziebart just wanted to thank you guys for sharing with us your energy and passion for your purpose. Once again what a great message. We sometimes lose focus on the purpose and you guys have a great way of putting things in perspective.

Thank you!
Ziebart Team
